Print job from Apple Macbook to print server on Link Station

Installed: CHL 1TB ext drive, two PCs and 1 macbook all wireless to the router and to the drive with USB Epson printer attached.

Background: Sharing files no problem anywhere. Print jobs from PCs to print server on drive performs perfectly.

Problem: Print job from macbook to print server doesn't work. Macbook sees the printer on the ext drive but that's it. Talked with Apple store geniuses and Apple care and Buffalo and download some "stuff" from Epson. Ain't going to happen I guess. Anyone have a solution?

Hmmm, I had a similar problem with a Canon printer. Of course I had to install the Mac printer driver but how? There was a little text file in the driver package what containet the instructions how to install it for a network printer. Worked well.

 

So IMHO your best chance is look up on the Epson page or ask their support.
