Terastation III UPS support for data reliability

I noticed the Terastation III + Terastation Duo reference UPS support via the Serial connection, however we're finding all our new UPS systems use USB instead of serial.

 

Is there a listing of supported UPS systems for the Terastation III  /  Terastation Duo via serial connection, or is a usb-connected APC UPS a viable option?

 

With power working going on at some of our small sites, need to make sure we've got the appropriate means of protecting our data should we employ Terastation III's + Duos.

I'm sorry the UPS support is through Serial port only at this time. USB is reserved for external storage backup and print serving. My apologies.

But for the 2nd part of the question, are you aware of any compatibility list of UPS systems for the Terastation III or Terastation Duo?

 

Having trouble finding alternate UPS systems that are not EOL that support serial connections.
