Size on disk discrepancy PC to linkstation

Hi,
I have a linkstation LS-V3.0TL and for a while now I've been noticing that the size on disk of files is MUCH larger on the NAS than on the PC. At first I thought there were shadow copy images but the PC has basically the same size on disk as regular size, very little difference.
For example, I took a bunch of fraps benchmarks today and put them in a folder. These are just CSV files. In total, 2.0 MB, 2.04 MB on disk on the PC. I copy to the linkstation, suddenly it's 60MB size on disk. Is the linkstation using some crazy weird file system? Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks
