Hi all,

i just change the HDD to new WD red 2tb. I am facing the problem of unable to flash the firmware into the HDD.
When i choose to update. The nasupdate popup notice"partition not found aborting firmware upgrade"

i try to use the windows format the hdd as ext4 , the update still revert back the same problem.
If i use noformatting=0 in the ini setting.
The system will start to format but always failed at last.

I try to insert the hdd into pc, i found the terastation help to create few partition in hdd, but all partition were unknown format.

Please point me a way to use my new hdd. I confirm the hdd can be use when plugin to pc.

still no clue for the update.
always fail.

but the first success were done in windows xp.
perhaps win xp can solve this.

Even the official technical support didn't reply me regarding this issue.

===========
Try again using the other win 7 32 bit for the same steps as i done previous.
Still "no partition found,update aborted" .
