Buffalo NAS - Linkstation Duo LS-WXL - Cannot Login After Firmware Update

I have the above NAS and it recently went into EM mode, after it was unable to start up successfully.  As such, reading from some of the support forums, I updated the firmware with version 1.68 which is the latest.

Now, the NAS is able to boot up and I can see it in the NAS Navigator 2 (v2.69).  However, I am unable to login to the web access control, either via the default password or my original password.  As such, I cannot access my files on the NAS.

Please advise.

Hi all,

I managed to reset the password and now can access my files again.  I used the LSrecovery tool.  Please see this thread for the link:
