Ok, hello everyone.

i bought today Buffalo Drivestation duo 2tb (HD-W2.0TIU2/R1) and cant get the Buffalos RAID Setup Utility to work on Windows 7 = "Error, might be in use, please reboot and try again".

Dosent it support windows vista / 7

Only the old XP? :o

Hope not.

Can someone help me please with this? Dont know what to do.

I do not beleive that it support windows 7. I kow that it does not support windows 7 64 bit which you might have because it ships 64 bit by default.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and I get the same message: "Error occured while searching. Device might be in use"

Any ideas? Seems pretty crappy if they don't support windows 7.

Does anybody else have this problem any solutions?

Thanks!

I have checked with Buffalo tech support. This product does not support Windows 7. This is interesting as Buffalo kept selling it after Windows 7 became available.

You will need to find a 32-bit Windows XP to config the DriveStation DUO.
