Hi all,

I am having trouble with configuring the NAS2 web access function for a Buffalo LS-XL LinkStation.

The components that I have are as follows:

Internet & Network BTHome Hub from (Infinity)
Sony Laptop running Windows 7
Buffalo NAS Navigator 2 software[/li][/list]

I attached the Linkstation to the hub directly with a Ethernet cable, Nas2 software installed with no issues, and the LinkStation was detected fine.  I can access, store and retrieve files with no issues with the laptop connected to the hub directly with a Ethernet cable or wirelessly.

I then attempted to setup the web access functions as described in the installation routine, and at the point when I have selected the web access - enabled, and assigned a BuffaloNas.com name for the drive, when saving, the process appears to take a significant period of time, and the session eventually times out.  Of course when I try to access the drive via the BuffaloNas.com site, the name for the drive is not recognised, as I assume the saving process is not completed correctly.

I have re-installed the installation tools are removing, tried the process with the laptop connected to the hub with a cable and wirelessly!!!

Advice, guidance or simply pointing in the right direction would be appreciated

Hi!
Have you found the solution?
I get this message: UPnP Gateway not found and/or doesn't support port forwarding, use manual setup.

It`s urgent :-)

You need to disable upnp setting in the linkstation and then go in to the verzion modem and do the port forwarding.

Make sure that you setup webaccess in the linkstations settings using the advance settings and set the internal port and external port to 9000. This will make things easier. If you dont know how to port forward in the verzion modem you need to contact the tech support.
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,
