LinkDuo died. Bought linkpro... Do I just stick the drives in?

I am afraid of destroying everything.  LinkStation Duo was raid 1.  2, 3TB drives.  I think one died.  Motherboard died so I bought a linkstation Pro.  Can I configure it for Raid 1....then stick one drive in....then put a new drive in and have it automatically copy my stuff over?  I am lost and cannot find this level of detail in manual.

I cannot be experimenting at this time.  Thanks.
