Unable to see my files after firmware update

My buffalo NAS recently went into EM mode and i was unable to access my file. I went and update my firmware using LSUpdater.  Now that my firmware is updated, I am able to see my HDD in my NAS navigator. However, under my share folder, I am unable to see my files after firmware update

Firmware version: Updated to 1.68
Nas model: LS-WXL

Would really appreciate any advise on how I can see my files again. Are they all gone? What did I do wrong?
