DriveStation WebAccess via BuffaloNAS.com or DynDNS

I know that LinkStation Live 3 has webaccess capability. However, I have a 1 TB DriveStation. I can access the share folder through my home LAN on the \\DriveStation, however, I don't know how to securely access the data from elsewhere. The functionality with LinkStation via BuffaloNAS.com is really cool. Even allows music file access and java player playback. Can I have access to something similar for the 1 TB DriveStation? 

 

Otherwise, I do have a Web Server running on my computer. Is it possible to have some sort of port forwarding from my router type access to the DriveStation's data?

First, You need to provide model numbers please!

 

Second, how are you setting these up? Are you plugging the DS into your LS and accessing through that? Or are they completely seperate?

 

What filesystem is on the DS?

I am merely saying that I woud like LinkStation type WebAccess functionality. I do not have LinkStation, only DriveStation:

It is connected to my network via ethernet. I would like to access it from outside my home network. This merely gives me secure access to my files on the DS so that I don't have to lug it around with me whereever I go. *Thanks*
