wont copy to hard drive

   just installed a new 500gb drivestation hd-ce500u2 and when i try to copy files to it ,its takes up to seven hours for a 700mb movie file its on fat32 format and turbo usb is enabled i have another hard drive by omega and the same files only take two or three minutes somethings not right any help at all please stevo u.k

You need to reformat it to NTFS.
