Ok this is LAME!!!!  I plug the unit in, NOTHING... all hooked up to USB...power outlet alone by itself,,, everything works except the FFFFing drive..  What is the problem..  Why buy something to offload your data to that ends up completely losing ALL OF IT!!!  All my family pics and files,,,

GamerDad,

I understand your frustration.  This unit is a basic plug and play device.  If it isnt showing up try it in another pc and see if that works if not give us a call and we can go from there.  Also when you dissconnected the device did you use the "safely remove hardware" option?
