2) No Time machine recognition, no matter how many times I try to follow various instructions and helps in forum or knowledge base.  It's not even recognized as an attached disc in Airport Utility, much less as a finder menu item.  Simply isn't there.  Some of the advice I tried posted here (just a couple changes in Airport menu) may work for someone, but destroyed my settings and I had to start all over again.

   Try that firmware update we talked about in the other thread and let us know after that, might have to reinitilze the device.
