Looking at buying a Buffalo Technology 1TB LinkStation Live LS-CHL but will it work with my WD TV Media HD Player?

That WD device only allows for USB connections to NTFS, FAT/FAT32 and HFS+ formatted HDD's. The linkstation does not allow for mounting to any plug and play device by usb, which this device does require, nor is the linkstation formatted in any of the supported file formats.
