EM mode detected update firmware or contact technical support

   I have a 1tb Linkstation live which will not work and gives the message as per the title. What do I do now? I'll have a look at instructions if you can give me full details and they don't look too complicated, else this is still under guarantee, as far as I am concerned it is now faulty, I shouldn't have to spend ages myself fixing this, I am from the midlands UK, where do I send it back too and presumably Buffalo will pay postage?

As far as replacing the unit you will need to contact your regions technical support and find out what their policy is!

 

Can you provide more info such as:

Model Number of the LS

Operating System of your comp

Firmware version of the LS (if you remember)

 

You will need to update the Firmware on the unit, if you already had the latest version then you will need to perform a force update... on this site go to Support> Knowledge Base> Search Articles for "Force Update".
