LinkStation Pro Duo wake from sleep [Mac]

I have a Buffalo LinkStation Pro Duo - LS-W1.0TGL/R1 connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station (AEBS).

Typically I have a desktop machine that once I wake it (MacPro) the NAS is prompted to wake and connect. However, connected to the same wifi network,

I wake my notebook (also a mac) and wait for it to prompt the NAS to wake and it never does.

I wrote a script that would auto connect the drive at login or wake, however, it doesn't work because the NAS drive is not prompted to wake.

The only idea I had was that I never installed the provided software on my notebook and now I cannot as I seemed to have misplaced the CD.

Both machines are running Leopard 10.5.6 and both connect wirelessly to the same AEBS.

You can download the NASNavigator software from the website. Make sure you get NASNavigator 2.

Thanks. I managed to get the software, however I am still finding it impossible to wake the NAS from my notebook on wifi, though it works fine when I power on my desktop ... which also connects via WIFI.

I am having the same issue. Did you find a solution?
