How to enable UPS Power settings on Linkstation Duo

Could someone tell me how to enable the UPS power settings on a Linkstation Duo?  I'm trying to connect it to and APS UPS via the USB cable so that the Linkstation will automatically power down if there is a loss of power.

In the web interface, Maintenance->UPS settings

   The web page will not allow me to select "enable"

The UPS needs to be attached first. Hook up the UPS, then reboot the Linkstation and try it again.
