I wanted to have a separate drive for SQL Server data, so I configured the device with 2 RAID1 arrays.  Array1 for the Server, and Array2 for the data.  This configuration is more efficient that having the server and data on the same array.  But my concern is that since this is a low-end iSCSI device, that, even though this configuration is supported, it will not be more efficient, and infact may be less efficient.  Probably because the Arrays are software managed, or something like that.  Anyone have some insight?

Using two volumes rather than one should not cause significant performance differences. Probably the only time you may see a larger disparity is when you're reading/writing to both volumes at the same time, but again, the difference should be small.
