FTP showing wrong file size on LinkStation

Hello,

First let me preface this with I am brand new at NAS.

 

I have a Linkstation Quad LS-Q4  firmware 1.05

 

I am connected via a computer running Vista Home Premium

 

When I used windows explorer to view a certain m2ts file it correctly show its size as ~25GB

 

If I navigate via internet explorer using ftp the same file is shown as only 554MB.  If I try to transfer the file only 554MB moves.

 

Does anyone know why I am not seeing the correct size in ftp?

Can you try a different ftp client such as Filezilla? That's really strange...
