My HD HG400LAN started to refuse to wake up as programmed. It goes to sleep at 11 PM and the light flashes. After the time when it's supposed to wake up (8:00 AM) the light turns off and I have to start it manually. I tried setting up the wake up time 15 minutes after the sleep time and it was able to wake up. But when I set the wake up time back to 8:00 AM continues to refuse to wake up. It's the hardware dying? It's any capacitor at fault?  Any Ideas to fix it will be welcome. TIA.

Something easy to try is to install the nas navigator client utility on a variety of the computers on the network.  The nas navigator can help keep the connection to the device to help to wake it up.
