Hi.  Just wanted to share something that worked for me to stop the disk check on my Terastation.
I have an 8TB unit and the check was continuing for days on end without allowing access to the files.

I downloaded a GUI for the ACP_Commander which allows telnet into the server (even when performing a disk check).

I was then able to send the following command to disable the disk check upon reboot:

rc-update -d checkroot boot

reboot

After reboot the system came up clean and had bypassed the disk check.
Thanks,
  Jon

This... is win... I will be trying this tonight!

Wonder how it will go as a Windows user.. might need to pull out the old Windows 7 laptop for this! Windows 8.1 sucks for this!
