Hi guys,

My LS-CHLv2's ethernet is completely dead after upgrading the firmware. with no packets whatsoever being sent by the box even on EM-Mode. Given that no packet is being sent by the LS, TFTP is not working as well. I was under the impression that the EM mode boot software wasn't touched by firmware upgrades. it seems like the box is not initialising the ethernet interface properly, given that the physical link is up, but no packets are sent.

All this is being done over a direct connection between my computer and the LS.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Hi Davo,

TFTP server was running fine, but the box simply wouldn't send any requests. TFTP only worked properly once I've cleared up completely the hard disk and put it back in the box. My guess would be that I've managed to muck up the booting process somehow.

Thanks.

Please define how you cleaned up the disk. i can only enter EM mode and i dont know what else to do
