Dynamic DNS updater on Linkstation DUO

Hi to all. i'm searching a solution from yesterday but can't find right way. today called Buffalo ITA and the can't help me.

 

I "simply" need dns client updater on my LS-WX20TLR1 for give FTP access to my customers.

 

Yes... my router USRobotics have ddns but i already use it for other (Dreambox Server) and don't want to share ****.ath.cx  with others.

 

So i need a different dynamic ip for use only with Buffalo NAS.

 

I registered "buffalo.nas/mynasalias" and it work perfectly as WebAccess, but can't use it as FTP address.

 

I found this can be a perfect solution

but there is a problem: "Get on your Linkstation using telnet or ssh apt-get install ddclient"

 

but.. LS-WX20TLR1 have not telnet access.

I tryed with putty but no success with password.

but probably it too old and jar give me some errors

 but it's not true because putty still request a password

Proud to tell you that I solved myself.
After 10 days with no response here, I decided to remove my dynamic DNS from the router and replace it with this new one.

I discovered an ADD button in the Dynamic DNS tab of my USRobotics 9801 and I realized that it's possible add more field from dyndns, no-ip, etc.

 

so ... I entered the data subscribed on No-ip and everything works perfectly. Now have 2 different DynamicDNS working.
