How long should it take for Check Disk to run if I enable the delete hidden files for Mac OS X option?  I am using the web interface on Mac OS X 10.8.2.  It has run for over 10 hours now.  When I run Check Disk without the delete hidden files option it only takes a few mins.  The 3TB drive is just a little over half way full.

it does a sector by sector check so it can sometimes take 24/36 hours.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

Thanks Davo,

It is getting close to 28 hours now so maybe soon it will be done.  I guess the drive being half way full is what is taking so long with it having  to check each sector.  The Check Disk without the delete hidden mac  os x files took only a few mins.  I will not be doing this again unless there is a real problem.
