Drivestation Duo - Disk parking Heads?

Have two 6TB Drivestation Duos I received and setup last week. The system that I setup downstairs has been working just fine. The one I have setup stairs is also working fine, but it sounds like occasionally one of the drives in the pair is parking it's heads ( that quick "clunking" sound) from time to time. This is usually after a disk write, but not after all of them.

So I'm not sure how concerned I should be about this. Is this "normal" behavior if the disks are in RAID-0 mode? Any way to check the disks to see if one is having any SMART issues or... ?

Thanks in advance!

Since there doesn't seem to be any actual support personnel around here, I decided to power down the unit and see if there was any obvious problem. As I started to slide the drive out, I almost burnt my hand it was so hot.

Anyone know of a way to make the fan run higher speed? Or an option to replace with a fan that does a better job of cooling?
