My unit was making funny noises last night : clicking and spin up and down noises. Checked disks using admin panel: nothing, so I powered it down for the night.

This morning, the unit will not power up. The lights are green at the back of the unit (LAN and Power), but there is nothing on the front LED panel (no blue light or otherwise).

The fan is not turning on. Tried reset with Function: nothing. Tried removing drives and powering up: nothing.

Anything else I can try?

EDIT: Just tried another power supply with same voltage and polarity but a bit more current 2.0A vs 1.5A. I get now cycling three blue blinks.

EDIT 2: Tried a third power supply with more amperage and it worked. Looks like the cheapo Asian Power Devices power supply that Buffalo packages with this unit weakened.
