LS Pro Duo FW 3.09 video not streaming

After updating to the latest FW, I noticed that my ripped home DVD´s do not run normally anymore. Everything looks fine at first, but after few seconds audio is lost and the video starts jamming. Music from iTunes folder runs perfectly as well as photos.

On my LS Live FW 2.11 and LS Live w/BT (FW 1.06, I think it was) there is no problem with the videos.

Anyone else to confirm this or any idea from Buffalo support team?

Reset the device to defaults from Maintenance->Initialization->Restore, then in Media Server-> Database Refresh Setting, check the Refresh Now box and click apply.

Thanks Colin, I have already done everything else than initialization. I wouldn´t like to do it just for "fun" as it resets the LS to factory settings including IP address, doesn´t it?

Can you rephrase that? I'm not sure what you mean.

I am also having trouble with the media server since the firmware update. See my post here:

Colin offered the same fix for me, but it didn't cure the problems. If you try it, be prepared to set up much of your Linkstation again, like IP, web access, media server, etc. I needed to pull out the set up CD to get it going again.

I'd be interested in rolling back to firmware 3.07. I'm hoping it's possible to do so.

Colin, I edited my message, was maybe written in a hurry...

Blchicago, you might be right that rolling back would be the way, in fact 3.08 should work. I think that you only have to "force update" the unit, meaning that you turn off the version check at some ini file (I don´t have any example right here but there are other threads to check...).

Anyone, correct me if I am wrong.

I have reset my device as instructed and have a similar issue.  My problem is that with streaming mp3 files to a DLNA client.  It will cut off at various times and never play consistantly.  It appears to be an issue with this version of Twonky 4.4.9, that is the installed version with 3.09.  Any word on a patch or new firmware with an updated version?

We don't have a copy of 3.07 available, but I'll look into it. 3.08 is available on our ftp site:
