Hi there,

I have one of the Buffalo Linkstation Duo 6TB with two raids of 3TB hardrives inside.

however during the bootup after the 4mins is waited a red flashing light apperars (error/Info). I believe this indicates that one of the harddrive is not functional properly.

However after installation of the disc only one of the hardrive is recognized and the other is not.

I took the non working hardrive out and put it in my computer internally for reformatting via hardrive adapters.

Even the computer itself does not recognize the non working hardrive, that includes going into administrative tool, but no joy!

I tried this again with the other working 3TB hardrive that seem to work all well and was recognized by my PC.

So what can i possibly do to make the hardrive work again, it sounds to be spinning perfeclty with no "ticking noise" but its just not being recognized.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
