Hi Everyone,

I have a LinkStation Live LS-CHL and I know that I can access it via http://www.buffalonas.com/">www.buffalonas.com outside of the home network. My question is does anyone know the port number range the buffalonas.com uses when it connects to the Linkstation?

My network admins are blocking random ports but if I can give them the range they will consider opening them if it is not a hazard to the network. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help.

Go to buffalonas.com, type in your buffalonas.com name. This will redirect you to http://your_public_ip_address:port_number/. That will tell you the port number it uses.

Colin,

Thanks for the reply. I was assuming that the port changes randomly from time to time. If that is not the case then I'll give them the port number in the morning. Thanks.
