I have a HD-CE640LU2 on WinXP connected via Ethernet, not USB. It works, in the sense that I can store data and read it back from the drive. Questions:

1. How can I find amount of space available?

2. I do not see the drive in the Disk Management tool. I assume this is because it is connected via Ethernet, hence not a part of the computer. True?

3. Is there any form of a manual for it?

4. I have set the Sleep Time to 20 mins; does this mean the disk stops spinning after 20 mins of inactivity?

5. I cannot tell from Buffalo's site if there is a firmware upgrade specific to this unit, as http://www.buffalotech.com/products/external-storage/">http://www.buffalotech.com/products/external-storage/ has no entry for CELU2, just CEU2 and other nonidentical ones. I am reluctant to upload anything inappropriate to it. Any advice?

Thanks,

Olimak
