TeraStation freezes when transferring files

I have purchased few days ago a new TeraStation . Now the configuration is done and everything is ready to go. But

when ever I'm sending a data to TeraStation, the TeraStation freezes copletelly. No response what so ever.

TeraStation came with one master disk. I was told, that this one master disk is necessery, because the TeraStation

software is installed to this disk and without it the TeraStation will not work.

After I got the new TeraStation I added two Western Digital Green line HD 1 TB discs to slot 3 and 4.

Then formatted theese disks, created RAID1 and reformatted the RAID set.

After creating shared folders I started to transfer files from a PC to the TeraStation. After tranfferring a few

files the TeraStation stops answering and freezes. I can't even ping. Everything seems to be halted.

In the TeraStation the little LCD keeps changing and it tells me, that the network connection is still up and 1000

Mbit/s etc... and keeps showing me all the data it usually does. To solve this problem I need to remove the power

cord and put it back again.

If I don't start transferring theese files, the TeraStation keeps up and running from day to another...

TeraStation get's it's IP from DHCP server. I can se this IP in the LCD panel even after the crash. However - the

interface seems to stop working.

The transfer is done directly from Windows, so it's using SMB.

The web control applet is allso bugging me about missing disk 2.

TeraStation model is HS-DHTGL/R5

The web-application tells me, that the model is: HS-DHTGL/R5 2.14

AppleTalk is disabled, FTP is enabled

Print Server: disabled

Today I tried to use only FTP for file transfers. This didn't help

Then I did the initialization process again and started all over.

I changed the configuration, and now the first 1 TB discs are in slot 1 and 2. The remaining disk is in slot 4

With this combination the data transfer speed was much higher. Allso I could transfer MUCH more data (~21 GB) much longer before the error occurred.

When the error takes place, nothing exept the LCD panel is workig. Even the power  button won't work. Pressing the power button will cause the link/activity led to blink fast, but  as soon as I take my finger off from the button, it just lits.

Every light on the left is lit (Link, Message and Error lights)

On the right side only HD3 error light is lit - this is because of missing disk 3

Any idea??

I'm begining to think there is something wrong with the TeraStation.

There's still no solution for this problem.

I have just installed Kiwi Syslog daemon for Windows so I could see, what is happening. There is no any spesific error for this. But I can see, that during normal file transfer process the TeraStation gets restarted. Same time the transfer fails, but will continue when pressing "Try again" button In windows Server 2008.  Still more usually TeraStation won't wake up on theese errors.
