We backup to attached USB drives for offsite storage from our TeraStation Pro II (TS-H2.0TGL/R5 - F/W 1.27).  I have been unable to locate a way of safely unmounting the USB drives, thus we receive numerous disc errors when the drive is unplugged.  The USB drive is formatted XFS.  Any ideas?

Thanks,

Marc

At this time if you log in the interface and shut the unit down (or reboot it) you can remove the drive when the unit is off.  It was not designed to have the USB drives swapped.  Buffalo is however looking into this option.
