Can an Admin add my serial number so I can download the software?

If you bought your product in the USA or Canada, we can add your serial number. If you bought it elsewhere, we can have that Buffalotech region/country add it, but it takes a day or two for other regions. Email the SN, complete product name (include capacity if a storage product) and region where purchased to drmemory@buffalotech.com

I replied back to you - BTW, most of our serial numbers (except for some really small products where it's hard to place a sticker) are a numeric 14 digit  number (no letters).

If anyone comes across this for invalid serial when downloading you may be entering the "other" SN located on the bottom. My Linkstation has 2 SN's, the other is all numerical and starts with a 9.

Further information, as we have many readers from different Buffalotech regions - the 9 at the beginning of the 14-digit serial number indicates that the product was manufactured in the USA. The first number may be a 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8, depending upon where the product was built.
