LS-XHL I11 error and Linkstation stuck in EM mode

Can anyone help me please?

My LS-XHL Linkstation is stuck in EM mode and whilst I've tried to update the firmware, it always fails. I also have the error I11 to say that the bad sectors have reached emergency level. I also don't have the option to access to Web Admin from Nas Navigator2?

Unfortunately I have no idea what to do to fix this.

I've checked for previous posts but can't find any to match my issue exactly?

Can anyone help?

I11 means the HDD has a physical defect. There is no way to recover from this. Refer to your backup.
