Hi,

A week ago my Buffalo 1TB (HD-E1.0TU2-EU) external USB 2.0 hard drive stopped to work.During boot it start's to make repeating clicking noise; it sounds like something's stuck there, like it's repeating some sort of  boot sequence "loop". It continues doing that and i'm unable to access the files.

The drive appears in "disk-manager" but not in "My Computer". Disk- managers says that everything works correctly.

The LED flashes at boot and then appears steady light and the clicking stops.

Please help cause i've got all my photos of my little kid in there :(

Regards Fredrik / Sweden

Does it appear in disk management (not device manager) at all? have you tried it on a second PC with a different cable? FYI: a clicking noise coming from a HDD is never a good thing!

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
