Linkstation LS-XHL Flashing red light but still working fine?

This week I upgraded the firmware on my 2tb LS-XHL from 1.1 to 1.6 in order to get the squeezebox server extension.  Everything seemed to go OK, the firmware is inplace and I am running the squeezebox extension.  However, the normally blue led on the front is now flashing constantly red.  Switching off the power using the switch at the back still leaves the led flashing.  I've unplugged the box for now until I can find out what may be wrong or what I need to do.

Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

Hi Davo,

No sequence, just a continous blinking red led.
