Was working fine, the web GUI that is.  I am using firefox.  Anyway, now I only see two of the three panes and one is squsashed awat at the bottom and I can't restore it.  I can go to Windows Exploerer or Firefox on another computer and it is fine (i can go to preferences and make all three show up).  However, on firefox on this computer that I use the most when I hit the preferences, all of them are greyed out.  Not sure what t do.  It was working fine and then I swiped my touchpad and now it is all messed up.

Anyone?

Ringfinger

It works fine (the downloader that is), and like I said in explorer and in firefox on my other computer, I can access the preferences and make it all look right.  It seems whatever I tweked with my swipe of the touchpad has now disabled me from accessing the web ui preferences.  It is washed/greyed out and shows no options.  It opens, but again no way to change options.

All I installed was that one for auto starting the torrents.  It's that bad?  ;-)

Anyway, I will try your cache/cookies trick and see how that works.

Well, it has been working for me.  It is a Firefox plug-in.  I am assuming from your post I may be opening a can of worms?

davo

Again..... what do you think???? Use bloody common sense!

Is it the torrent thing or the plug-in thing?  The plug-in integrates flawlessly with my browser.  I think that you don't like the plug in.

You installed a plug in to manage bit torrent downloads correct? And since you installed this plug in you are having issues with the GUI correct?? So what do you as a human being, that can (hopefully) think for himself think the issue might be?!

Maybe I did not explain well.  It worked fine even with the plug-in, no issues with the GUI.  What happened is one day I mistakensly swiped acress the screen on the touchpad, not sure what it did other than for the GUI make the text smaller and show only two of the three panes that I normally see.  Some of it is off the screen and I can't move it.  When I went to options for the GUI, all options are greyed out/basically I can't see them.  On the same computer in Explorer, I can access and change.  On another computer with firefox, I can see and change.

Yeah not sure actually.  I get your point though.  I will clear the cache and cookies and see where I net.  I do appreciate all of the help.

Ringfinger

Yup, still no luck with the cache clear and history clear.  Kind of at a loss as to what to do.
