Macbook Pro can't find LinkStation when iPad and PC can - help??

I have just attempted to set up my LinkStation again (since it's been in storage due to house renovations for 9months), and it all seems to work fine on PC and ipad  but my Macbook Pro can't find it - it scans and finds nothing.

 

Sorry, I'm not very techy, but the set up seems fine (as it is seen on other devices), I have resinstalled NAS Navigater2 and it still doesn't find it. My iphone also does not see it.

 

Any help would be great!

Disable the firewall on your MAC and rescan for the Nas Navigator? What is the IP address of the MAC and Linkstation? What firmware is installed on the Linkstaion?

Thanks, the firewall is disabled. Not sure how to check for LinkStation firmware as I can't see it on my MAC - it hasn't been updated since I got it which was over a year ago? Suppose I could try and look on my husbands PC later tonight?

 

I can see my IP address for my mac, how do I see it for the LinkStation?

Hi there,

I have installed and re-installed this software and after it has scanned, the window has no info in it. Unless I am missing something, if it doesn't see my LinkStation how can I do anything with the software?
