I haven't even had this product for even close to a year yet, it is not working on my new computer.

I need an updated driver for Windows 7

Are you able to see the drive when you go and right click on computer, select manage, then go to disk management?

I have this same exact problem, the drive is practically new and my 64-bit  Windows 7 machine will not recognize the drive at all when i use the eSATA cable.  It works fine when used with USB, but eSATA speed was the reason I bought the drive.

I have two HD-HS1.0TQ Drives.  Both behave exactly the same way on all four of out Dell Precision T7500 Windows 7 64-bit machines.  I would test on other machines, but these are the only four with eSATA ports...

I realize this thread is a litte old, but I have the same issue now with a Buffalo 2TB DriveStation Quad. USB works, esata doesn't. What makes this problem even more confusing, is that the esata connection works on my laptop with Win 7 x64, but  when I try to connect to my workstation it won't recognize the drive. The power does come on. I have connected another esata device to the same workstation with success. It has to be a driver thing, right?
