HI. I have an error on my linkstation live. When i switch it on an error tone starts and the error light flashes - 6 flashes then a pause then 6 flashes - and so on. I have 2 linkstation live devices. So i removed the HDD from the faulty device and plugged into the working device. I continue to get the same error beeps. This process strikes out any other possibility of a Dead FAN, processor etc..) I used nas-recovery application. Launced the TFTP Boot.exe and come up to the below messages: accepting requests.. Client 192.168.11.150:3264 C:\Users\Yhalai\Downloads\linkstation\TFTP Boot Recov ery\uImage.buffalo, 3584 Blocks Served Client 192.168.11.150:2601 C:\Users\Yhalai\Downloads\linkstation\TFTP Boot Recov ery\initrd.buffalo, 8604 Blocks Served I can hear the harddisk running, tried running the NAsNav and cannot find the device. i tried running the LSnavigator and cannot find the device. could this be a faulty HDD? If so how do i go about getting a new 500GB SATA drive installed and recover data from old to new. any guidelines or documntation on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sam
