I have model LS-CH1.0TL-US that I need to run the TFTP Boot procedure on.  Which version of the firmware (1.12 or 1.54) is needed for this model?

Jotin

If your model  number is printed on the unit on the bottom in white, then it is the 1.54, if it is not, then it is 1.12

I have a quick question, Ive actually been trying to solve my problem in another part of the forum. I was reading in the TFTP readme that if my
LS-CH1.0TL-US is black its a V2 and if its gray its a V1. Is this true?

davo

not necessarily, post a picture of the bottom of your unit and ill tell you if its a V1 or V2

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

Does "printed on the bottom in white", does that mean printed on a white label in black letters?

Can you tell which version I have from this?

Soylent

I have the same sticker with the same model number, (LS-CH1.0TL-US). I'm at FW version 1.07....Did you find out which firmware version is the correct one?

Edit: I just grabbed the 1.12 version, and it successfully installed.

realborat

Take a look at the bottom of your LS  You will see CE letters on one side, if there is aLs Model number underneath, Yours is V2 and Fw version 1.54 or newer. But, I suspect yours is V1 and Fw version wil be 1.12

Soylent

Yeah, mine is really old. But it did outlast a few other network backup drives! Anyway, I ran the 1.12 updater and it worked.

By the way, any idea where are the release notes for 1.12? I'd like to see what has changed since 1.07
