Unable to login Navigator with defaul username and password

I am unable to use the default username and password in Navigator to access my Linkstation.  I have not changed the username or passord and can use the default username and password to access the Linkstation via IP and the web.  I even edited the registry using as follows:

Then navigate (using the panel on the left) to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - SYSTEM - CurrentControlSet - Control - Lsa

Then (on the right panel) dobule click LmCompatibilityLevel and set the value of LmCompatibilityLevel to 2 and if you have further problems to 1, then restart your computer.
