Cannot find backup files

I am using a Buffalo HD-LB1 OTU-3 for backing up my files. I have had nothing but problems with this unit. Recently I switched the unit to a new computer, and had to do numerous uninstall/reinstalls before I finally got the thing working. I have just checked to see the status of the backup, but am unable to find any files or folders. All I can see in the main window is a list of the programs on my desk top and one other file for astrophotography, which is empty. There should be at least a dozen or so folders containing photographs and artwork. I have included a screenshot, in the hopes that someone can tell me where to look for the missing information.

I have checked the configuration settings for the folders I want backed up, and every one of them states ' ! It has been already registered.'

Following the path C:\Program Files > Buffalo > Backup Utility > SYSERRLOG, I find dozens of text files. Examples are :-

I have no idea what any of this means, and I certainly haven't been warned by the program that my files are not being backed up.
