Buffalo LS-CH2.0TL slow?

hello and first sorry my bad english.

 

I brought this NAS for my home network. I have a asus rt-n56u router (giga speed) i have cat 5 cables (gigaspeed) and i have the nas mention above. 

 

1. When connected my computer to the lan port 1 on the asus router - and my NAS connected to lan port 2 (i tried the other way around without result) i get speeds MAX 14mb/s and on wireless 2mb/s - i have 30/30 in internet speed and on the lan side, i have 1000 (giganetwork)  Can someone explain to me why, the speed is so slow? i have port forwared the right ports 9000 to webacess and 9090 to utorrent bit client.

 

 

2. I use my bittorrent client a lot, and my nas is 50% full. When downloading now fromin the bittorrent client on the nas (192.168.1.8:9090) the speed goes up to 3-4MB/S but then in a few seconds it turn down to 300-400kb/s (just like the schelder not are working?) or like the nas not can follow anymore when its to full? please help me..

Sorry you are experiencing slow torrent downloads. Will you send me links to some examples of slow files? Are they regular torrents or magnet links? What is the firmware version, MAC address (12 digit) and serial number (14digit). Email to drmemory@buffalotech.com

Can u explain to me, why i only get 12mb/s on lan from my nas to my com?

 

i have asus rt-n56u , cat 5 cables , giga networkcard in my computer. and i get only 10-12 mb/s (100mbit not 1000??)

I not quiet sure about the frame size, can u explain ?

 

all my cables are CAT5E and should do more speed than 14MB/S MAX!   i tryed to put an giga switch after my router, and put the buffalonas in the switch and my computer ind the switch. max speed 14mb/s ! Hmm... Ls-CH2.0TL and 50% full - bittorrent are clean. no torrents are running og seeding. (i might think it could be the CPU in the nas , ) but WHY max 14 Mb/S i dont understand!

With the stock firmware you should get around 24mb on a chlv2 smb read and 36mb with custom firmware

 

smb write around 18-22mb

utorrent is slow, 50% used disk space of 2tb.   slow transfer speed over giga lan, all cat 5e cables with new giga router and all cables connected. whats wrong?
