LS Pro NAS LS-V1.0TL - Can't access share from (1) of (3) XP workstations

LS Pro NAS LS-V1.0TL - Can't access share from 1 of 3 Win XP workstations. I've managed to get (2) other Windows XP systems talking to the Linkstation Pro NAS (all ethernet-connected).  My personal machine cannot connect such that I can access "share". (error msg: "could not open the shared folder. confirm drive status.)  Both other worktations which are practically identical to mine attached just fine, simply by installing the Navigator. (latest download version).  I've tried turning off Windows Firewall and AntiVirus to no avail.

 

 Any thoughts as to where I would begin to look  in my system, for what might be keeping me from connecting would be appreciated.  I'm racking my tiny brain for what might be "unique" about my system.

Thanks for the help, Brian. No, I cannot access the device via "run".  When I open NAS Navi, it DOES eventually (slowly) bring up an Icon with associated info.. IP address, etc.  Also, when I cursor over the icon, it shows the same info.  It even shows, in the lower field, the bar indicating space used.  Any way that I try to access (double-click or "browse") it, the following error is shown: "Could not open the shared folder. Confirm drive status."..then the Icon disappears.

 

When I "refresh", it then offers me the chance to "change the IP address".  When I accept, it returns that it has changed the address, but again when trying to access, I get the "could not open the shared folder.." error.  

 

As I mentioned in the original, it's working just fine on (2) other almost identical XP systems, so I'm guessing my PC has the wrong bit-flipped somewhere.

 

Any additional suggestions are most welcome.
