CH500L cannot Map Disk Firmware upgrade fails

Hi, I'm trying to recover data from the Trash bin of the disk, but it has been troublesome. The disk has bad sectors, and what I've tried is:
1 -Updating the Firmware, but it fails during installation for lost connection, or keeps looping.
2-Using  the Navigator software, it  detects the disk but can't map it   
3 - In Admin mode, the password is sometimes not recognized.   Any help? 
Also, I would like to know,  on which other CHs  models could be my disk compatible with, as I could get one from the market?  Thanks.

The problem is more likely with the disk than the device, getting another device is unlikely to help.

You can connect the disk to a pc running linux and read the xfs filesystem if it is still functional.
