Drive Station Duo - HD-W1.OTIU2/R1- cannot get Raid setup utility to work on Windows 7 64bit

Hi,

 

I have a Drive Station Duo HD-W1.OTIU2/R1AP which I purchased some time ago. It has been working flawlessly until recently.

 

I want to redo the setup but cannot get the Raid setup utility to work under Windows 7. I have tried various compatibility modes but none work.

 

Any advise or suggestions on how to get it to work?

The utilty will only work on an OS upto Windows XP

That explains why it does work on Vista 32bit.

 

Should it work in compatibility mode under Vista?

Understandable since Vista just came out and Buffalo engineering probably hasn't had time to catch up with the latest from Microsoft.

Pastvne, quit talking through your a*s! The unit he is talking about was manufacturerd years before vista, 7 and 8 were released.
