I am trying to setup user rights for family to be able to upload to the drive but not to be able to delete anything.  I can set it up for them to be able to upload but they can still have access to delete my files.  How can I make it that a user can upload but not have delete rights to my files.

The only access rights on our NAS devices are no access, read only, and read/write. Read/write permissions will allow both upload and delete rights. You can create another shared folder and give them read/write access on it, then lock their username down to read-only on the share with your data.
