White box LS-L500GL-R

Bought via ecost.com, came w/ no software.

 

Downloaded  linkpro, could not find network, was able to create a share using "connect this PC to Linkstation" no luck upgrading using LS-GL because it "could not be found"

 

I would like to get this thing on my network so other machines can find it easier and upgrade the flash if necessary.

 

Note: This thing is in a white case ... I don't see any on the buffalo site that look like this ... is this a bad thing?

All the software can be downloaded from buffalotech.com  If you are having issues finding the device with the navigator software, then make sure you have all of your firewall and anti virus software disabled.
