I'm having problems with a new hard drive my dad bought for me in Taiwan. The model is stated as the subject, Buffalo MiniStationLite HD-PEU2, Pearl White, 500 GB. I first loaded it on my Windows Vista, which it showed installing but after installed, nothing showed up in the explorer. Restarted and tried again but still no sign of a drive on my computer. Later on I tried it on Windows XP SP3, the same problem occured. The same results occured on Windows 7 too. Lastly I tried it on my dad's AirMac Version 10.5.8 but still couldn't work. And I'm not a taiwanese and currently in China. Luckily one of my dad's taiwanese friend came and we are thinking of bringing it back for a refund or to check if theres any problem, but it worked on his friend's Mac, Snow Leopard. It was detected but prompt to be formatted. After that its working on that Mac and my dad's Air Mac but still not working on Windows operating system.

you will need to reformat the drive into NTFS in Disk Management.

It is probably formatted in HFS which a MAC can read but Windows cannot.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
